Greetings, and welcome to our newest issue, filled with all of our favorite things. We love to celebrate food and wine every day, so when it comes to putting together this annual
issue that spotlights both of those loves, work becomes fun. We’ve tasted lots of wines, visited hot new restaurants, where some of L.A.’s top chefs have ventured into different culinary territories, and even hit the Fancy Foods Show in order to help satisfy the most demanding foodies’ palates. We love our kids and dogs, too (especially my boon
companion, Jack the Wonder Bichon), so we’re shining spotlights on both, with sections devoted to the products and services that will make them all sit up and smile. And don’t
miss our family Getaways story; this trip is one that you and your children will never forget.
We’ve traveled to Central America in this issue as well, filling you in on the latest luxury happenings in Costa Rica, as well as taking a look at the emerging tourism opportunities
